the election of the Armada Young Lady

 

On Saturday, July the 28th, the election of the Armada Young Lady took place at the Vikings hall in Yvetot. Firstly, the Young Ladies marched past with the Armor Lux clothes, made up of white trousers and smock. The second parade presented the young girls with traditional clothes created by the village of Seine bank in function of the represented countries and ships.

For this event, the prize of the most beautiful costume has been awarded to the village of St Nicolas de Bliquetuit represented by the Young Lady Virginie Malot bearing the colours of Poland. The last parade showed the Young Ladies with evening dresses especially designed by Nicolas Laville, young Rouen designer. After this wonderful evening, the prize of the Armada Young Lady has been attributed to Young Lady Virginie Malot which represents, this year, the polish three-master Dar Mlodziesky.
