The Armada arrives on the shores of Great Britain with LD LinesSignature of a partnership agreement between the Armada and LD Lines - Transmanche Ferries  This latest agreement was signed in fairly original circumstances; several days ago, the ferry "Norman Spirit" sailed from Le Havre to Portsmouth and back carrying a group of professionals from a variety of different sectors. The reason for the voyage, which returned to France without a soul touching British soil, was quite simply the signature of a partnership with LD Lines chief executive Christophe Santoni. A subsidiary of the ship-owning firm Louis Dreyfus, LD Lines also offers crossings to Newhaven. Having thus become the event's official transporter, the company will be offering additional crossings, which, if the project comes to fruition, may include a tourist passage all the way up to Rouen on one of its enormous vessels. All aboard for a job with Armada 2008 In 2003, the French national job centre (ANPE) in Maromme recorded 376 job offers associated with the Armada, including 150 as newspaper delivery staff. The French Navy becomes an Armada 2008 partner.
