Events within the event, meetings, conferences, cocktails, luncheons and gala dinners are held each day at dozens of locations around the site, on the tall ships, yachts and naval vessels, in the VIP village, under tents or in the conference rooms provided for that purpose.
For ten days, Rouen is the focal destination for hundreds of public figures in business, politics, entertainment, the media, shipping and yachting, from French government officials to ministers and ambassadors from the countries present on the site, not to mention the chief executives of major European companies in Normandy, the Paris area and neighbouring regions. Visitors to previous editions of the Armada include French prime ministers, celebrated yachtsmen such as Eric Tabarly, Gerard d'Aboville, Laurent Bourgnon and Olivier de Kersauson, and stars such as Jean Rochefort or Miss France… to name only a few.
