
Concerts provided by the Haute-Normandie Regional Council: Free, open-air concerts sponsored by the Regional Council will be held each evening from the 5 to 13 July from 19:30 onwards, at the Pier head located on the right bank of the river Seine near Flaubert bridge.
The line-up includes in particular: Alain Bashung (July 5), Hugues Aufray (July 6), Aaron and Wax Tailor (July 7), Tiken Jah Fakoly (July 8), the Orchestra of the Haute-Normandie Rouen Opera House directed by Oswald Sallaberger (July 9), Rose and Ridan (July 10), Gilberto Gil (July 10), Cali (July 12), Iggy Pop and the Stooges (July 13). The concerts often include a supporting act before the star attraction. Admission free

The Seine-Maritime Departmental Council will install a Ferris wheel on the South bank, open from 9:00 to 23:00. Forty meters up, visitors will have the benefit of a perfect view of all the events. Tickets can be won from 9:00 to 11:00 each morning on the Council's website, and the winners can withdraw their entry tickets at the Seine-Maritime Departmental Council marquee, located on the North bank between hangars 1 and 2.
The vast halls of the Seine-Maritime Departmental Council will host a number of activities, including "Read the Armada" with books, workshops, and entertainment for children… as well as concerts, and information on car-pooling to get to the Armada events.
Also worth mentioning is the initiative of the Departmental Council to set up 3,000 Waste Not Spots on both banks of the River Seine, between Le Havre and Rouen, i.e. one Waste Not Spot every 5 km to help keep the banks of the Seine clean for the Grand Parade orchestrated by the Departmental Council on July 14, the national French holiday.

The Rouen Conurbation Authority will install its "Agglo Bubble" on the North bank, to provide a breath of fresh air in the midst of the summer festival. For the occasion, the Rouen Conurbation Authority has completely overhauled Hangar 2 on the quays, transformed for the occasion into an "Agglo Bubble" for the duration of the Armada. A genuine haven of peace and quiet in the midst of the festivities and fun, Agglo will provide visitors with a well-deserved break. On-site there will be games for children, a water bar with fruit drinks and lemonades, a terrace and surprises galore.

The Agglo Scene sets the pace for Europe!
Another initiative of the Rouen Conurbation Authority is the "Agglo Scene" near the Agglo Bubble with a highly varied musical programme: symphony orchestra, Latin or Celtic music, jazz… to satisfy the tastes of a highly varied public.
Free concerts from 4 to 13 July
The Agglo Summit 10 m high on the South bank will provide great views of the Armada as well as fun and games for all. The Rouen Conurbation Authority has installed suspension bridges, a rope bridge, climbing walls and scrambling paths for all ages. Open from 9:00 to 20:00 with one section reserved for small children and another for teenagers. Admission free
The Port Authority of Rouen will open the Cruise Terminal in Hangar 16, with a presentation of books on the sea, a public reception area, and entertainment by the artist Yves Bergougnioux, who will offer drawings and a daily sketch diary. An exhibition on the Publicly-owned Inland Waterways of France (VNF) and visits of the port in the high-speed motorboats are also on schedule.
