Did you know?

She was originally built in 1898 by Gridiron and Workers in Carrigaloe, Ireland, under the name Yum. Eric Tabarly's father bought it in 1938 and Eric Tabarly himself bought it from his father in 1952 when he was 21 years old. Pen Duick literally means "Black Head" in Breton which refers to the Coal Tit.

First participation in the Armada.
